Jelle Paul & The Folly is a folk rock project centered around singer-songwriter Jelle Paul. What started as years of solitary songwriting in urban apartments grew into a unique multi-musician collaboration: a coming-of-age musical journey on hope, loss, faith, love and the strange grace of ordinary places. The Folly is his band, but also this atmospheric world of anything. Honest words and powerful instrumentation. Sonically the music draws inspiration from the folk intimacy of Cat Stevens and Tom Petty and the euphoric rock energy of The Killers and Bruce Springsteen.
